The Rogers residence is an 1844 Greek revival style house. The home was built by Belfast merchant James H. Spring, who came to Belfast from Watertown, Mass., in 1800 and is prominently identified with the early history of Belfast.

The house features an entrance portico with decorative iron balustrade, a curved flying staircase and Italian black marble-faced fireplace.
There is no admission charge to the tea but donations are welcomed.
